Considering how beautiful and sophisticated the finished product can be, learning how to make chocolate tuxedo strawberries is surprisingly easy. And they are the perfect treats for any occasion, whether it's a baby shower, a bachelorette party, or a Valentine's Day dinner. Serve these treats to your guests, and they won't be able to help being impressed.

Here are some tips on how to make chocolate tuxedo strawberries.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wash your strawberries an hour or two before you make your tuxedo strawberries to give them a chance to dry completely.

  2. Step 2

Put white chocolate into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for about a minute to melt the chocolate. Give the white chocolate a stir. If it isn't as melted as you'd like, microwave it for another 20 seconds or so. Keep repeating this last step until the chocolate has achieved the consistency you want.

  3. Step 3

Holding a strawberry by its stem, dip it into the white chocolate so that it is completely coated, then set it on a tray that has been lined with wax paper. Repeat the process until all of the strawberries have been coated, then refrigerate them for about 20 minutes, until the chocolate is hard.

  4. Step 4

Place the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt it in the microwave.

  5. Step 5

Holding a strawberry by the stem, dip one side into the dark chocolate and then the other. You want the dark chocolate to form a v-shape, so that it looks like a little man in a white shirt wearing a brown vest. Place the strawberry back on the pan lined with wax paper.

  6. Step 6

Dip a toothpick in the dark chocolate, and use it to draw a bow tie at the top of the strawberry, where the neck would be. You can also make little dots going down the center of the whit v-shape to represent buttons.

  7. Step 7

Put the strawberries back into the refrigerator and chill them until you are ready to serve.
