If you are looking for free, quality print projects for yourself or for children that you can do at home the give HP.com a try. HP offers a wide array of projects including; Photo books & Scrapbooks, Cards & Stationary, Calendars,Photos Frames & Borders, DIY Photo Gifts,Iron-ons & Fabric,Toys & Games, Party Kits & Decorations, Gift Tags, Boxes & Wraps, Posters, Home Business.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet access
  • Color Printer
  • Printer paper or Card stock
  • Time to have fun
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  1. Step 1

    Go to www.hp.com. Click on "Explore & Create" on the tabs located at the top of the website. Then click on "Free Printing Projects" located on the navigation box on the left side of the page.

    Choose a project from HP's large assortment of project categories. Then select an individual project. You may need to scroll down the page just a bit to see the slide show of available projects.

    When you found a project you like simply click on the "Quick View" to see what the project offers. Then click on the "Select" button to choose your project.

    When your project page opens, you will have a choice to open a project item. You can click on the link to "View Instructions" or click on the project name to open that project. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free at www.adobe.com

    Some projects will require you to fill in text. Simply click on the existing text and then type whatever you like in the box. When you are ready click on the print icon at the top of the page and print your project.

    There are Brand Name Designs to choose from such as; Martha Stewart, Smilebox, Michael’s Stores, Inc., NBA, The Pioneer Woman, Corel, Wedding Paper Divas, Tiny Prints, Photo DVDs, Imagekind. Youtube, Disney, Blurb Bookstore, Skinit, HP, Sebastian Copeland, Artimus, Moo, and Photo Stamps. When you click on these links you will be redirected to their website. These are premium designs, which you will have to pay for.

Tips & Warnings
  • You choose to print your projects on plain white paper or you can purchase stock card paper. The cost of printing projects at home will depend upon your preference. You can choose to print in economy mode, which uses less ink, or in full color, brighter quality by choosing the highest quality printing in your printer dialog box.
  • Free print projects can mean a great deal of money spent on ink and paper. So,choose wisely as to what projects to print and what quality you will print with.
