Make hair soft and silky with bananas!

Has your hair become dry and brittle? Dry, frizzy hair is not attractive. With items from your kitchen you can easily make your hair soft, shiny and more appealing. Bananas will treat your hair to hydrating vitamins and may also promote hair growth by improving circulation! Here is the recipe for soft and manageable hair. If you have long hair, you may want to double the ingredients.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 banana
  • honey
  • olive or almond oil
  • plastic saran wrap
  1. Step 1

Get out a mixing bowl. Mash your banana with a potato masher or spoon. Make sure it is completely mushy. There should be no large chunks.

  2. Step 2

Mix in 1 tablespoon of honey.

  3. Step 3

Add 1 tablespoon of oil (almond or olive).

  4. Step 4

Mix all ingredients until they are well combined.

  5. Step 5

Massage into damp hair. Completely cover your hair with the banana mixture. If you suffer from oily scalp and dry hair at the bottom, you can apply only to the bottom of your hair.

  6. Step 6

Cover your head with saran wrap. Sit back and read a good book or watch a movie for 30 minutes. Relax.

  7. Step 7

Rinse hair several times. Wash hair in the morning as usual.

Tips & Warnings
  • Best to do in the evening so that you do not have to wash your hair until the next morning. However, you will have to rinse very well.
