It is easier than you think to increase your metabolism and lose weight. You don't have to crash diet or be unhealthy in you quest for a leaner more fit body. Three things to keep in mind when looking to speed up you metabolism are, diet, movement and water. Here are some tips on how to increase your metabolism.

  • Exercise
  • Cut fats
  • Cut sugars
  1. Step 1

    Grapefruit: To increase metabolism, grapefruit, helps speed up the body ability to burn fat and blocks enzymes that cause fat storage. For quick weight loss eat or drink grapefruit juice.

  2. Step 2

    Green Tea: Drink green tea. Green tea a daily, charges your metabolism and aids in weight loss. Don't add refined sugar to sweeten green tea. If you desire a little sweetness use little raw honey.

  3. Step 3

    Water: Drink water! It cleanses the body of impurities, helps increase your metabolism, which will help you to lose weight. Water also helps fill the desire for empty calories.

  4. Step 4

    Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple Cider energizes the metabolism and help with weight loss. You can prepare a drink of apple cider vinegar and honey as an addition to your weight loss regiment. Add one or two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a eight ounce glass of distilled water, with a touch of raw honey.
