Things You'll Need:
- paper
- digital camera
- computer
- Microsoft WORD
- printer
-
Step 1
Takes some photos of your child with the gift they received. The pictures works best if he or she is wearing the gift or playing with it!
-
Step 2
Download the photos to your computer. Right click a photo and click "Copy."
-
Step 3
Open a new page in a word processing program like Microsoft WORD. Right click on the page and click "Paste."
-
Step 4
To make the image easier to move around the page, double click the image. Then click the "Layout" tab on the window that opens. Choose "behind text" and click OK. This will allow you to move the image around the page easily by clicking on it and dragging the photo where you want it.
-
Step 5
For younger kids, type a big "THANK YOU" in large block lettering which they can color in. I like to use WordArt (click Insert> Picture> WordArt) For older kids, leave space on the page for them to write or draw their own note and sign their names.
-
Step 6
After the kids have drawn and colored the page, the thank you is ready for the mail! My kids have received so many compliments for their heartfelt thank yous. And people love seeing the pictures, especially if they weren't able to be there to present the gift in person.
