Can we avoid the effects of global warming? With tell-tale signs of Polar ice caps melting and seas rising, are we too late?

Has Global degradation gone too far for one person to make the vast changes required to avoid the effects of global warming?

Maybe...and maybe not.

Here are 5 things you can do today to start making the changes that will help to avoid the effects of global warming, and why they will work.

  • A sense of commitment.
  • A desire for a cleaner planet.
  • The will to change.
  1. Step 1

    Shower a little less:
    If you take a 10, 15 or 20 minute shower, stop one minute earlier. You will save 4 to 8 gallons of water.
    Worldwide there are more than 1 million green activist. We save 8-12 million gallons of water daily this way.

  2. Step 2

    Room Lights:
    When leaving a room, shut the light off. If you have a dimmer switch, ask yourself if you can dim the light slightly.
    Collectively we can save 1 million kilowatts of electricity a day.

  3. Step 3

    Recycle Aluminum:
    Put the soda can in the recycle bin and know you have contributed to 1 million aluminum cans being recycled daily.

  4. Step 4

    Newspapers and Magazines:
    Put these in a seperate recycle bin and enjoy the knowlege that 1 million of you helped save a thousand acres of forest today.

  5. Step 5

    Household Cleaners;
    Change your household cleaning solutions to the non toxic chemical variety. Worldwide our 1 million activist contribute "0" tons of chemical waste into our atmoshpere daily.

  6. Step 6

    Do you now see how you, as an individual, can help to avoid the effects of global warming?

    Only when "You" becomes "We", will we be able to change the effects of global warming in our lifetime.
