1. Click "Add Gadgets." This button is a plus sign. It appears at the top of your Vista desktop sidebar, which is docked on the right-hand side of your screen by default. You can also add gadgets to the sidebar in Vista by right-clicking anywhere in the sidebar and selecting "Add Gadgets" from the resulting menu.

2. Browse the Gadgets pop-up window to find the gadgets you desire.

3. Double-click a gadget you want to add to the sidebar in Vista. This will place the gadget in the sidebar. You can reorder or rearrange the gadgets by dragging them around within the sidebar.
