Taxcut is tax preparation software from HR Block, available online or for purchase to use on your computer. You can search for -- and find -- your tax bracket within Taxcut. However, since you are dealing with tax preparation software, the process can be somewhat complex. Here are some tips on how to navigate the program to find your tax bracket.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Purchase Taxcut software. You can either get access to the program online or purchase it in its entirety for your personal computer. There is a link toa free version online from the free efile Web page (see link in Resources), for those that want to test it out before purchasing the program.

  2. Step 2

Set up a Taxcut account. Set up a user name and password to establish a Taxcut account if you are using the online version.

  3. Step 3

Search for tax bracket, income bracket or tax schedule in the help section. This should point you to all of the pertinent information you need.

  4. Step 4

Get a tax or income bracket table online. There are different financial Web sites and blogs that monitor this kind of information and have tables for each tax year. See a link in Resources below.

  5. Step 5

Check the with the IRS. Alternatively, you can search the IRS Web site for the income and tax brackets for the latest year. There is a link in Resources below to this information.
