After joining eBay, there are a number of ways that an eBay account can be personalized to reflect your tastes and personality. These personalization methods can make it more enjoyable to use eBay as well as let other members know all about them. Choose a user name that reflects your own personality or interests. eBay members often choose a part of their name or a variation on their name that reflects something about their family. Other members choose names that reflect their sense of humor, their taste in music or movies or a name that relates to their pets. The only limitation is that eBay user ID names must be names that are not already in use and are not vulgar.

Change your My eBay colors to make your My eBay page more enjoyable for you to use. Use the Edit link at the top of each section of the page and choose the color you wish for that section. You can choose the same color for each section or you can choose different colors for different sections.

Use the Edit mode to move the sections around to suit your needs. Whatever sections you are most interested in can be moved to the top of the page.

Create an About Me page. Go through the Site Map link that is under the main tabs at the top of the page. Choose the A-Z Index link and then choose the top link. This is the About Me page where you can create your own personalized page that will be tied to your eBay account. The page can be filled with text, pictures and links to create a page that is about your interests, family or about your business.
