Things You'll Need:
- quality beauty tools
- a great hair stylist
-
Step 1
By learning some tricks of the trade, you will have armed yourself with the knowledge needed to make your hair as beautiful as when you stepped out of the salon. A blowout that costs you $50 dollars a week can easily be done at home with the right knowledge and the proper tools. Quality tools can be obtained at a reasonable price, and are priceless when trying to cut your budget.
-
Step 2
Trimming your own bangs or coloring your hair can also be done at home. When you go in for your regular hair appointment, ask your stylist what can be done to keep you hair looking great for a longer period of time. Many stylists will give you their honest opinion, and give you alternate ways to keep your style looking great for longer.
-
Step 3
Waxing is also an area that can be done at home, or can be skipped altogether. A bikini wax can cost upwards of $25. You could always purchase an at home wax kit, or you could skip the wax altogether and just shave the offensive body hair. Just make sure that you properly exfoliate and moisturize the area before and after the treatment to minimize ingrown hairs. Either way, it will save you some of your hard earned cash.
-
Step 4
Doing your own nails can also save you some green. By giving yourself a manicure and pedicure, it can shave off $50 off of your beauty regimen. Manicures and pedicures are easily done, and the results of a home treatment often look just as fabulous as a spa treatment.
