How to Access Old Yahoo Profiles

Yahoo, months ago, made a change to their profile system. This was done without any warning to the many users of their free chat messenger. As a result, many people lost a lot of information on their profiles. While some things, such as name, age, sex and hobbies were transferred to the new Yahoo profile set up, many things were not. If you want to find those things that didn't transfer over, there is a way to access your old Yahoo profiles.

Instructions

1. Open an internet browser window.

2. Type http://p1.pf.re4.yahoo.com/ into the address bar.

3. Include your own screen name, or the screen name you wish to look up, after the .com/

   Your address bar should read: http://p1.pf.re4.yahoo.com/screen_name_here

4. Copy any important information from your old Yahoo profile that are not being included in the new one.

5. Paste them directly into your new profile or save them into a Word document to be used later.

6. Save your photo if it was lost during the Yahoo profiles change.

• Use this promptly if you need your information. You never know when Yahoo will remove the cached profiles.
