There is nothing worse for pet owners and for pets than to be hit with fleas. You will find as a pet owner, it can be a challenge at times to get rid of fleas without putting pesticides on your loving pets. You don’t like the smell and many pesticides irate pets while getting rid of fleas. It’s important to have flea control for your pet’s health and for your sanity. If you have problems with fleas on your pets, you can get rid of fleas with lemons.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 whole lemons
  • 1 pot
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 spray bottle
  • Strainer
  1. Step 1

    Cut three whole lemons in half.

  2. Step 2

    Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.

  3. Step 3

    Add the cut lemons to the boiling water to make a citrus lemon flea repellent.

  4. Step 4

    Allow the flea repellent to steep overnight after boiling for 10 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Squeeze the lemons and pour strained mixture into a spray bottle.

  6. Step 6

    To get rid of fleas on your pets, lightly mist your pet with the citrus lemon flea repellent.

  7. Step 7

    Repeat each time your pet will go outside to help get rid of fleas and keep fleas from coming back in your house on your pets.
