AIDS is a serious disease that is fatal. The real name of AIDS is Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. This article will educate you about AIDS and also teach you how to avoid getting infected. This article will also help those who may be infected by showing the symptoms.

  1. Step 1

    The most important step is this step, to learn how to prevent getting AIDS. AIDS' infective agent is HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus). People can get either AIDS or HIV by Sexual contact, sharing hypodermic needles, transfusions, or an infected mother giving it to her newborn child. If you have AIDS or HIV it is YOUR responsibility not to have sexual contact, share hypodermic needles, or have transfusions.

  2. Step 2

    AIDS' Incubation period can vary anywhere within seven years.

  3. Step 3

    The symptoms of AIDS are: fever, lethargy, diarrhea, weight loss, shortness of breath, lymph node enlargement, viral and fungus infections, and of course death.

  4. Step 4

    Treatment: As of now there are treatments that can prolong life, known as chemotherapy but as of now there are no cures for AIDS.
