Removing the speaker grilles in your Camaro will be necessary if you're attempting to replace the speakers or have a damaged grille. Only the rear speaker grilles are removable in the Camaro; the front speaker grilles are integrated into the door panel.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Open the trunk of the car. Lower yourself into the trunk, head first and on your back, so that after you work your way in you will be positioned looking up at the underside of the rear deck.

  2. Step 2

Find and remove the four nuts and bolts surrounding each of the speakers in the rear deck.

  3. Step 3

Go into the car and lift up on the speaker grilles on the rear deck. Pull up until the bolts are clear of the rear deck, then slide the speaker grilles towards you and away from the rear window.
