Step 1
Visit the Avery website's Greeting Card template category.

Select a greeting card template to download. Click the title of the card template you wish to use.

Download the template. Click the "Download Template" button. Complete the "Get Started" form in the ensuing pop-up window. Click the "Submit" button to begin your download. Save the downloaded template file to the folder you desire. Double-click the template file and launch Microsoft Word.

Highlight and type over any text you wish to replace.

Save and print your finished greeting card. Hold the CTRL key and type "S" to save your file. Hold the CTRL key again and type "P" to print your card.

Fold the card along indicated lines and sign it.

Visit the Microsoft Office Online Templates website and click on the "Greeting cards" link.

Select a category of template for the style or occasion of the greeting card (Friendship, Get Well, Holidays, Occasions and Events, Sympathy or Thank You).

Select and download a template. Click the title of the exact card template you wish to use and click the "Download" button. Click the "Accept" button on the Microsoft Service Agreement to agree to the contract and proceed with the download.

Highlight and type over any text you wish to replace.

Save and print the card by holding down the CTRL button and typing the "S" key first and then the "P" key.

Fold the card as indicated by the template and write your personal message and signature.
