Things You'll Need:
- Internet Connection
-
Step 1
Sell stuff online. You’d be surprised how much your college textbooks might sell for, among other things. Go through your belongings, and look up how much they’re selling for on Ebay and Amazon.com. Make sure you are honest in the descriptions you post, if you gain a poor reputation as a seller, you won’t be able to sell as effectively.
-
Step 2
Work to your strengths. Can you write a how-to guide? Write for E-How, or another online writing site. Are you really good at math? Start tutoring some local kids, or even at a college, and make some extra cash. Every little bit helps if you are trying to pay the bills when you are unemployed
-
Step 3
Start your own business. If you’re a great at what you do, you’ll get work. Advertise on craigslist, and try to get the word out as much as possible among friends and family.
