Prepare your strawberries for the smoothie. If you use fresh strawberries, use the small knife to cut off the stem and leaves on the top of the strawberry. Remove any blemishes from the strawberries. If you use frozen strawberries, run them under hot water to gently thaw them.

    • 2

Create your smoothie. Add the strawberries, yogurt, and milk to the blender. Gently combine the ingredients by pulsing the blender on a low speed. Avoid blending the ingredients on high speeds for a long period of time, as it crushes the strawberries.

Sample your smoothie and determine the texture you want. If you want a thicker smoothie, add 5 to 6 ice cubes and continue to blend. If you prefer a runnier smoothie add only 2 to 3 ice cubes. Continue to taste your smoothie and add ice cubes until your smoothie is the desired texture.

Transfer the smoothie into a glass and enjoy. You can also transfer the smoothie into an airtight container and place in the fridge for later. If you choose this option, place the smoothie in the fridge for half an hour before drinking. Refreezing the smoothie restores its thicker texture.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have fun with flavors by adding different fruit pieces to your smoothie.

  • For a lighter strawberry smoothie, add lemonade instead of milk.

  • If the texture of the seeds in your strawberry smoothie is too much, strain the smoothie mixture through a strainer prior to drinking.
