How to keep your flower garden alive & looking great.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Marigold Flowers.

    Marigold Flowers.

Starting a beautiful flower garden may be easy; keep in mind you must maintain the garden for it to remain beautiful and healthy looking. First after the flowers of your choice are planted you must water them daily. It is best to water your flowers either early morning or late afternoon after the Sun begins to set for the evening. If you water during the hot afternoon Sun, you may end up burning your beautiful flower garden. Watering in the hot Sun of summer can cause your flower garden to sizzle and the flowers may very well die.

  2. Step 2

Aside from daily watering, it wouldn't hurt to add some type of soil or fertilizer to inhibit growth of your selected flowers. In addition, you may want to consider some non-toxic type of insect killer to assure healthy growth and longevity of the flowers.

  3. Step 3

It is an excellent idea to purchase some type of small wood or rubber garden fence to further protect your flowers. In addition, if you notice any dried or dead flowers; it is best to pull off the dry part of the plant so that the rest of the flower may blossom and nourish in the garden you worked so hard to have.
