One of summer's most famous dish is the salad. Salad is an easy dish to make and is healthy for the whole family. With all kinds of produce from gardens and orchards overflowing and begging to be
tumbled into a bowl and enjoyed. Why not just make a salad bar at home?

  1. Step 1

    Here are a few steps to help you with this task of making an at home
    salad bar.

    Select an area of your kitchen where you would like for your selection of
    ingredients to be displayed.

  2. Step 2
    Chicken prepared for salad.

    Make and prepare your ingredients.

    **Meats**

    You can use leftovers , or you can cook the meat of your choice (ex. chicken, turkey, ham). Thinly slice or chunk up meat. Put in a container (bowl).

  3. Step 3

    **Cheese**
    Shred cheese or purchase shredded cheese, place in a bowl or container.

    **Carrot**
    Shred carrots or purchase already shredded carrots place in a bowl or container.

  4. Step 4
    Place salad on countertop or tabletop.

    **Vegetables**
    Vegetables are to be chunked up and put in a bowl or container.

  5. Step 5

    Make sure all ingredients are bite-size. Most of which can be bought already prepared such as nuts, shredded cheese, etc.

    You can also use your own special ingredients just put them in a bowl or container and add to your other selections.

    After putting all your bite-size ingredients in separate dishes, line them up on your countertop or tabletop or your designated location. Include bottles of your favorite dressings or oils.

    Croutons
    Fruits
    Cucumbers
    Onions
    Boiled Chopped Eggs
