Screen savers are fun to add to the desktop. Add a plain screen saver or an animated one to the desktop to display while you are away. Here is how to
change or add a new screen saver to Windows XP.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Screensavers
  1. Step 1

Click the desktop and properties. Go into the Display Properties Box. Once there, click Screen Savers Tab at the top of the Display
    Properties Box.

  2. Step 2

The screen saver box should be on the left side. Click the drop down menu and select a new screen saver to display. And this is also where to set how long before the screen saver is displayed. Look for a box
that says Wait ... select how many minutes to wait before the screensaver pops up on the desktop.

  3. Step 3

The preview window should show what the new screensaver looks like. To see what the new screen saver will look like fully displayed on the desktop hit the preview button. Once satisfied with the selection
    click the OK button.
