To clean and remove buildup and stains from countertops, sprinkle some baking soda over the counterop and spray a little bit of water over the baking soda. This should make a paste. Use a sponge to scrub the countertop in a circular motion. When finished, use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe the counter clean.
Repeat these same steps to clean your bathtub and to remove soap scum and buildup from fixtures. To clean your toilet bowl, simply sprinkle in some baking soda and scrub with a toilet brush.
To remove crayon, pen, scuffs, etc. from white or cream colored walls, sprinkle some baking soda onto a damp sponge and scrub the stain in a circular motion until the stain disappears. Spray the spot with some water and wipe dry. -

To clean glass, pour some vinegar into a spray bottle, spray the surface and wipe clean with a lint free cloth or paper towel. You can also use this method to add shine and polish fixtures and appliances.

Lemon Juice can be added to your water spray bottle to give a fresh clean scent to kitchens and bathrooms.

Cornstarch is great way to dry clean and freshen your rugs. Simply sprinkle the cornstarch on the carpet and let sit for a few minutes, then vacuum. To give the room a fresh fragrance, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the cornstarch.
