1
Draw a female figure first, front and back. The figure doesn't need to be perfect. You just need something to draw your swimming suit onto. This will make drawing the suit easier, and it will give you a better idea about how your bathing suit will look when worn.
-
2
Decide if you want to draw a one-piece or two-piece bathing suit. Decide whether or not your bathing suit will have straps. If you're drawing a one-piece bathing suit, decide if it will cover the entire torso of the body or if you will leave an area that exposes the tummy.

3
Start with the swimsuit top, and begin where the cleavage will show. This should be the center of your female figure. Draw a curved or straight line, depending upon the style of swimsuit you want to draw, from the cleavage to the edge of the torso. Add the lower cup covering each breast, then use light pencil strokes to shape the swimsuit to each breast and to add shadowing under and at the lower edge of each breast. This will take away the flat look by adding depth and dimension.

4
Draw the bottom of the bathing suit outline first. One line across the waist, then two lines curved at the thighs to give your suit the cut you want will do for shaping. Add shading where the bathing suit meets the thighs to give your suit a more defined look.
-
5
Sketch the inner details of the swimming suit next, adding any pattern of decorations your swimming suit will have. This could be flower patterns or simply stripes or odd shaped designs of your own.
-
6
Repeat the drawing procedures on the back of your female sketch. Again, use shading to add dimension to your suit. A little darkness around the lower buttocks will lift your bathing suit sketch from the paper as opposed to the flat look achieved by simply drawing lines.
-
7
Color the swimsuit. You want to create a finished look, so go ahead and color your female figure as well. This will allow you to get a complete view of the bathing suit you've drawn.
