How to Make Your Golf Cart Pop a Wheelie
Most golf carts are used by golfers who rent them while playing a round at their favorite club. Some golfers who play regularly buy their own carts and customize them to suit their tastes. Even someone who doesn't play golf may buy a cart because he lives on a large piece of property and finds it easier to get around. Individuals who own their own carts may eventually want to do a trick like popping a wheelie.

1
Learn how to take care of your vehicle and keep it in top shape. While there are a few gas-driven golf carts, most are battery-operated vehicles that run off an electrical charge. Keep your vehicle in top shape to make it last and do tricks.
-
2
Drive your golf cart as if it were a car or a motorcycle. Understand that it is a motor vehicle and it can be involved in accidents that can cause signficant personal or property damage if it is not operated correctly. Take the care to learn how to operate it safely.

3
Drive it in an area where there are hills and signficiant terrain change. We're not talking about mountains or steep grades. However, if you want to get your front end up in the air, you need to be able to launch the vehicle -- to a degree -- in order to get some front-end lift.
-
4
Build up speed in your golf cart. Most golf carts that are rented from golf clubs have a "governor" on it that will limit your speed to less than 20 miles per hour. Customized golf carts can go 30 MPH or more. You need speed to get your front end up in the air.
-
5
Pull back on the driver's wheel and lean all your body weight back to get your front end up in the air. Once you have gotten that front wheel up, lean forward again. Go back and try it again until you feel comfortable. You can pop a wheelie for a second or two, but once you understand your vehicle and have mastered the maneuver, you can hold your wheelie for 30 seconds or more.
