How to Make Perfect Peanut Butter Brownies

If you love peanut butter and peanut butter cups, you will love peanut butter brownies. Here is a quick and easy recipe. These brownies taste wonderful. You will be asked for your peanut butter brownie recipe every time you cook these for someone. They are great for holidays, special occasions, bake sales, get well wished and more!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 baking powder
  • peanut butter cup pieces from 12 regular-size peanut butter cups
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • pecan bits (optional)
  • whip cream (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Spread melted butter to cover inside of 9" square pan.

  3. Step 3

    Mix butter and cocoa until smooth.

  4. Step 4

    Stir eggs, sugar and vanilla into the cocoa and butter mixture.

  5. Step 5

    Add flour, salt and baking powder until all items are mixed well.

  6. Step 6

    Stir in 1 cup of peanut butter cup chunks.

  7. Step 7

    Put mixture into pan. Spread out evenly.

  8. Step 8

    Mix 2 tbsp milk with 2 tbsp peanut butter. Drop peanut butter mixture over the batter and swirl with a spoon.

  9. Step 9

    Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Brownies are ready when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  10. Step 10

    When your brownies are done and you remove them from the oven, sprinkle remaining peanut butter chunks over the top.

  11. Step 11

    Cool for 5 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • For tastiest brownies (not healthiest), use real butter whenever butter is called for in the recipe.
  • If you really want to make it a special treat, add whipped cream and pecans to slightly warm brownies.
