Instructions

    • 1

Secure all cracks and openings to your home with caulk.

    • 2

Clear all of the debris and leaf litter around the foundation of your house. Centipedes thrive in a moist environment, and if you remove that, you'll reduce the population.

    • 3

Set out sticky traps wherever you see centipede activity. Check and remove them as necessary.

    • 4

Place a dehumidifier in humid rooms. Centipedes need moisture to live.

    • 5

Spray an insecticide where you have seen centipede activity. Common places include cracks in walls and behind baseboards. Centipedes feed on other insects, so the insecticide will kill centipedes along with their food source.
