Things You'll Need:
- 1 loaf Jalapeno Bread (Wal-mart has it) Sliced in half then halved again.
- 1 jar Prego sauce (your choice flavor)
- 1 small can pineapple tidbits or crushed
- 1 pkg. shredded Mexican pizza cheese. (or cheddar/Monterrey jack)
- 1 small pkg of Tyson chicken strip for fajitas (substitute leftover chicken)
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375
Slice bread in halve and then slice lengthwise to make 4 good sized pizza bases. Place on Pizza Pan or Broiler Tray. -
Step 2
Spoon sauce over bread base. Make sure to spread to edges. Bread absorbs some so you can put it on thicker than you would for straight pizza dough.
-
Step 3
Cut chicken fajita strips to size you like and place on pizza
-
Step 4
Strain pineapple juice into glass - add vodka and drink it. (okay, I dont' do this but why waste good pineapple juice?)
Take pineapple tidbits and place around in between chicken chunks. Eat a couple of pieces of pineapple. We prefer the crushed for this pizza but tidbits are good too. -
Step 5
Take a couple of fistfuls of the shredded cheese and spread over the pizza. Do to taste.
-
Step 6
Place in over and bake until cheese is starting to brown. Remove and eat. YUM. This is great on hot day with a beer. Perfect for Sunday afternoons.
