Depending on your personal tastes you can vary this EASY PIZZA anyway you want. QUICK EASY SIMPLE and wowsers! We are talking dinner in about 20 minutes.

This is my original recipe and the family loves it. The sweet of pineapple contrasts the heat of jalapeno.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 loaf Jalapeno Bread (Wal-mart has it) Sliced in half then halved again.
  • 1 jar Prego sauce (your choice flavor)
  • 1 small can pineapple tidbits or crushed
  • 1 pkg. shredded Mexican pizza cheese. (or cheddar/Monterrey jack)
  • 1 small pkg of Tyson chicken strip for fajitas (substitute leftover chicken)
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375
Slice bread in halve and then slice lengthwise to make 4 good sized pizza bases. Place on Pizza Pan or Broiler Tray.

  2. Step 2

Spoon sauce over bread base. Make sure to spread to edges. Bread absorbs some so you can put it on thicker than you would for straight pizza dough.

  3. Step 3

Cut chicken fajita strips to size you like and place on pizza

  4. Step 4

Strain pineapple juice into glass - add vodka and drink it. (okay, I dont' do this but why waste good pineapple juice?)
Take pineapple tidbits and place around in between chicken chunks. Eat a couple of pieces of pineapple. We prefer the crushed for this pizza but tidbits are good too.

  5. Step 5

Take a couple of fistfuls of the shredded cheese and spread over the pizza. Do to taste.

  6. Step 6

Place in over and bake until cheese is starting to brown. Remove and eat. YUM. This is great on hot day with a beer. Perfect for Sunday afternoons.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you prefer a crispier crust you will want to toast the bread first.
