With the Fourth of July around the corner, June has become known as Fireworks Safety Month. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, fireworks cause over 8,000 injuries a year. Men are more likely injured by fireworks than women and over 2,000 of the cases are in children under 15 years of age. Let's use this month to practice and teach fireworks safety.

  1. Step 1

Do not use homemade fireworks or explosives.
