How to Type Exponents on Wordperfect 10

Corel's WordPerfect is one of the premier word-processing programs on the market. If you are writing a document in WordPerfect, especially a technical document, you may come across the need to type a number that has an exponent next to it. This is easily accomplished, and the following article will show you how.

Instructions

    • 1

Type in your document the base number and its exponent. At this point the exponent looks like just another number.

    • 2

Use your mouse to select and highlight the number you want to turn into an exponent. Do not select the base number, since you want it to stay the same. If you have more than one exponent you want to change, you can do them all at the same time by holding down the Ctrl or Command key to select more than one number.

    • 3

Use the mouse to right-click on the highlighted text.

    • 4

Select "Font," look down below Position, and select "Superscript." The number next to the base number should now look like an exponent.
