How to draw a SITTING DOG - fun for kids

Here are the steps for a simple way to draw a dog. This is a fun little drawing you can teach your kids! Click on each picture so you can get the enlarged view.

Instructions

1. 

   First make simple U shape to start the face. Make sure you start at the top of your paper so you will have room for the body.

2. 

   Next add the floppy ears and top of the head. You can do this with one line. Just start by putting your pencil on one side of the U and go down to make the first ear then go up and over the U for the head and go down for the other ear and back up to connect to the other side of the U.

3. 

   Now add two lines for the body.

4. 

   Then add the legs. Just draw a bump and then a foot on each side and connect in the middle to make the bottom of the body.

5. 

   Now finish off the front paws as shown in the picture.

6. 

   Next you add the eyes and the nose.

7. 

   Finish it off with a cute little tail! You just drew a dog!
