Do you have squirrels living in your home as unwanted guests? Learn how to evict them. Remove the squirrels humanely and safely, than seal them out!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Squirrel cage, peanut butter, nuts, hardware cloth, drill, self tapping screws,heavy duty scissors,
  1. Step 1

    Locate and identify where the squirrels are entering into the home. Learn their routines i.e. where they run and go. Once you've figured this out set up some cages in areas where the squirrels frequent. Bait them with peanut butter and peanuts. Additionally make sure the cages are secured to the roof so they wont fall over.

  2. Step 2

    Continue catching squirrels and replace the cages till you have caught them all. Than continue to keep cages there till there is no more activity. The last thing you want is to seal up a squirrel inside the home.

  3. Step 3

    Once there are no more squirrels seal up the hole. Most holes can be sealed up properly using wire mesh or hardware cloth. Fasten the hardware cloth with a drill and screws, a staple gun wont cut it

Tips & Warnings
  • If the squirrel hole is high on the house and you need to use a ladder make sure to use proper ladder safety.
