Ever wanted to make your own pulled pork BBQ sandwich but didn't know how. Here is an easy recipe for Homemade pulled pork BBQ sandwiches.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Crock Pot/ Slow Cooker
  • Any type of pork roast
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Onions
  • Seasonings
  1. Step 1

The first thing you want to do is preheat your slow cooker. If you want to cook the meat within 3-4 hours set the temp to high. If you want to cook it over night set the temp to low. I used beef stock but you can use any type of liquid that you feel in the slow cooker. Cut up a half an onion an throw it in with the liquid.

  2. Step 2

The second thing you want to do is season your meat with the seasonings that you choose. What i like to do is rub the seasonings with my hands into the meat or if you want you can marinate it in the fridge over night.

  3. Step 3

Next add the meat into the slow cooker and walk away. You can check on it in a few hours if you like or the next day. THe slow cooker will not over cook the meat nor will it burn it. The longer you let cook the better.

  4. Step 4

When the meat is cooked take it out and set it on a large plate or cutting board. Shred the meat with a fork. Drain the liquid out of the slow cooker. You can reserve this liquid for another recipe if like. Add the meat back to the slow cooker and add the BBQ sauce. Let it simmer on low for an hour. You can add as little or as much as you like. it just depends on how much BBQ sauce you like on your sandwich.

  5. Step 5

Grab some buns and load it up with BBQ!!!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • To give your BBQ a smoky taste add a few drops of liquid smoke to the BBQ Sauce.
