Iweb is a website design program on Apple that allows the user to drop and drag objects when building the website and not worry about html code. Unfortunately this nice program sometimes prevents the user from adding cool designs and needed functionality to their web pages. This ehow guide will explain how to add forms to your website so that you can collect things, such as user email addresses, user questions, surveys, polls...etc.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Many people with few website designer skills flock to iweb as a means for creating easy simple websites that meet their personal and or business needs.

  2. Step 2

Many business owners and website designers require functions, such as feedback and newsletters. Unfortunately iweb does not offer anything for these type of functions, without messing with the html code (which can be quite difficult to change in iweb). None the less a user can still have these items in their page by adding html snippets in the page.

  3. Step 3

First visit a website that offers the html code for "contact us" "surveys" "online registrations" and other required functions you might need for your website. Some companies that offer this are jotform.com and wufoo.com. Once you create your form at either of these websites copy the html code and return to Iweb.

  4. Step 4

In order to easily add this to your iweb site you will need Iweb 2009. If your media window is not already open click on the button at the bottom right corner of the iweb program window labeled show media.

  5. Step 5

Once you click on show media a panel will slide open with several different widgets. Click on the html snippet widget and drag it onto the desired location on your web page. After you do this a light black box will open. You should paste your html code into the light black box. After you do this your form should appear. If it does not go back and repeat the steps.

  6. Step 6

In order to test your form fill it out and click send. The information should be transmitted to either your email address that your provided when creating the form or to your account at the form site.
