Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is the standard audio compression format that is generally used in DVDs and videos. It supports a low compression for digital audio signals. MP3 is a digital audio encoding format that is used for general playback on digital audio players. MP3 players generally support an MP3 audio format, therefore to upload your AAC music files to your MP3 player, you must first convert them using a media converter program. This simple process allows you to move your music around.
