Teeth whitening can be a very expensive process. Thankfully, there are some home remedies you can use to whiten your teeth that are much cheaper, and oftentimes, more convenient.

- Hydrogen peroxide
- Baking soda
- Strawberries
- Extra virgin olive oil

Create your own toothpaste with whitening capabilities by applying two or three teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide to a cup with two to three teaspoons of baking soda. Apply the mixture to your toothbrush, and brush your teeth as you normally would.

Use strawberries. The Tyra Banks show had a dental hygeniest show off this process, and it really works. Simply cut open a strawberry, and rub it on your teeth. Make sure to brush your teeth right after completing this step.

Try extra virgin olive oil. Brush your teeth really well then find a completely white wash cloth. Pour the olive oil on the wash cloth, and then scrub your teeth with the wash cloth. It surprisingly doesn't leave much of a taste in your mouth, and it works almost immediately.

Stop smoking, and use any of the methods above. Smoking weakens your gums, teeth and the rest of your body. If you stop smoking, and apply, for instance, the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide paste in Step 1, you'll see an immediate improvement in the whiteness of your teeth.
