How to Cure Gout with Diet

Gout is a condition that is characterized by a buildup of uric acid, caused by a high amount of purines present in the body. Under normal circumstances, uric acid gets flushed out in the urine, but when it does not, gout can result. Uric acid pools up at joint locations causing them to become swollen and tender. A way to cure this is through the diet.
