Purchase the right size of sandals for your feet. Rainbow Sandals do not come in the usual numbered sizes but instead are sold in small (S), medium (M) and large (L) sizes, as well as XL, XXL and XXXL. Buy a size too small and you risk damaging your toes or skin.

Wear the sandals and walk in water for a few minutes to soften the leather. Either fresh or salt water can be used, so this task can be performed at the beach or at home in the bath.

Exit the sea or bath, and walk in the sandals for between 30 minutes and an hour or until the sandals are dry.
