Have you ever wanted to be a Wizard? Well in this article we will tell you how to be the ultimate wizard.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1" X 1" board, 12"-18" long (depending on hand size)
  • Dremel, Knife, belt sander, or other woodcutting tool
  • Fine sandpaper (320 grain or higher)
  • Circle the size of a large dinner plate of chamois or any non-fray material.
  • Food coloring
  • Beakers, test tubes, or any little bottle that closes.
  • Yarn
  • Hole puncher
  • Dinner Plate
  • Bottle caps and hammer, clay, or foreign coins
  • Blank Journal
  • All Materials are optional. To be a wizard you do not have to have everything!
  1. Step 1
    My wand.

    My wand.

    Make your wand
Take the 1" X 1" board. Use your Dremel, knife, or sanding belt to get it down to the basic shape you want your wand in. ADULT MUST DO THIS. SANDING BELTS, KNIVES Then take your sandpaper and rub it all around the outside of the wand. once you are satisfied, your magic wand is finished.
Feel free to customize your wand to be like you. i.e. Paint it, lacquer it, glue ribbons up it, and things of this sort.

  2. Step 2

    Make your money
Everyone needs money, right? Well wizards sure do. Here I will tell you how to make money and a handy carrying drawstring sack.
First, take your material or chamois in the shape of a dinner plate. Punch holes evenly about 1" apart, all around the circle. Then take your yarn and weave it up and down through the holes. When you come to the hole next to the hole where you started, stop weaving. Where the yarn is now, cut the yarn. then pull both strings at once. Note that if you pull just one string, all the weaving will come out. It should close neatly into a sack. This is good. At he end of the two strings, tie them together with a triple-knot. A double-knot allows it slide, so it will come undone. You have finished your bag. now throw in some metal coins, foreign coins, bottle caps hammered to be smooth and not sharp, or baked circles of clay.

  3. Step 3

    Make your potions.
    This step is really simple.
Take your beakers or test tube like things and fill them up with water. put food coloring into the beakers for different colors.
    Here are the potions:
    Clear: clears mind.
    Green: Heals.
    Blue: Regenerates magic.
Red (rare phoenix potion): Total regeneration.
    Orange: Makes invisible.
Yellow: Clears dark thoughts, improves optimism.
    You're now done with potions.

  4. Step 4

Last is your wizard's journal. Use your blank journal, make up spells, and put their uses beside. Record all your potions. Record magical animals. There is no limit to the imagination you can put into your journal!

Tips & Warnings
  • Note: This is instructions on how to put together a child's wizard kit. This is in no way mocking or trying to falsely imitate any real wizard culture.
  • Do not attempt any of these things without a responsible adult with you. Otherwise I will turn you into a toad. I mean it. P.S. Do not ask me how to do that spell. Master wizards only.
