How to Use Avon Skin So Soft on A Dog for Flea and Tick Control
Avon Skin So Soft original bath oil has many extra uses, including flea and tick control on a dog. It does need to be diluted with water, and applied directly to the pet. The solution should work for up to six days, and should also help a pet suffering from dry skin.

Fill a clean spray bottle with five parts water and one part Skin So Soft. Shake the bottle well to mix.

Spray a small amount on your dog's coat. Gently rub it against the fur so the solution gets down to the dog's skin. Avoid getting any near the dog's face.

Spray a small amount of the solution on your hands and rub it on the dog's legs and chest. Brush the dog immediately to help evenly distribute the solution.

Repeat every other day during flea season, and before taking the dog into a wooded area. Shake the bottle well before each use.

Tips & Warnings
If the dog resists having his coat sprayed with the solution, try spraying a small amount into your hands and then rubbing it on your dog's coat.
