You have just made a large homemade pizza and your ready to sit down to eat it when you realize you out of Italian seasoning!!! Before your world stops, check out this article, it will show you step by step how to make Italian seasoning from scratch!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Thyme
  • Oregano
  • Savory
  • Marjoram
  • Basil
  • Sage
  • Rosemary
  1. Step 1

Grab one of your empty seasoning bottles from your cabinet, small mixing bowl, and a spoon or fork to mix with.

  2. Step 2

Add one tablespoon of Thyme, Oregano, Savory, Marjoram, Basil, Sage and Rosemary into the small mixing bowl and mix well. Try to keep the mixing under control or you might have half of your herbs on the counter.

  3. Step 3

If you do not have any empty seasoning bottles then just make sure you store it in an airtight container in a cool dry area. Next time you make pizza you will be ready with your Italian seasoning! I personally like to use the seasoning on the pizza after it is cooked but you can put it on before you cook the pizza as well.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mix well
  • Store in a cool dry area
