Things You'll Need:
- 2 pairs of pants, needle and thread.
-
Step 1
I have very long legs. 38" inseam. I have a hard time finding pants long enough. So I had to get creative. First thing to try is to let the hem out. If they are still not long enough I have another idea.
-
Step 2
Make sure you let the hem out first. If you have another pair of pants that you never wear with the hem still in cut off about 5" of the bottom of the legs. Fold down about an inch and sew a seam all the way around the leg.
-
Step 3
Slip this piece over the bottom of your pant leg and hand sew it on all the way around. Making sure that you are getting it on straight. Do the same with the other leg making sure that you get them the same length. It's kind of time consuming but it's worth it to save a good fitting pair of pants.
-
Step 4
If you dont want to use another pair of pants for the bottom you can use something else. They are your pants and you can add on anything you like. Be creative!
