Things You'll Need:
- Yourself
-
Step 1
Take a shower. I like to take a warm shower but if you are having major issues waking up take a cold shower. It just might kick the grogginess.
-
Step 2
Eat something! If you do not eat in the morning then your metabolism doesn't get started. Maybe your not a cereal person, then try eggs! Eggs are great for you and there are many different ways to eat eggs!
-
Step 3
Exercise! If you exercise before you take your shower it will help your body wake up. Go for a jog when you wake up, or maybe do some push-ups next to the bed.
-
Step 4
Do not sit back down in a comfortable chair or on your bed after you have woken up a bit. The temptation to just take a few minutes to relax could be what makes you late for work.
-
Step 5
When you get to work drink some coffee and find something to occupy your mind. Start the day working hard and your grogginess should go away soon.

on 7/6/2009 Good ideas. Sleeping in on one of my days off really helps. I hate getting up at 5:30 and it only worse when school starts up again. The kids have to get up at 5:30 too and catch a bus at 6:45am. Getting them motivated is really hard.
