Many AdSense publishers have recently seen a decrease in their income from ad clicks on their websites. Some publishers believe that interest based ad selection is therefore not working for them. This new program has been phased in recently to replace keywording and relevant ad placement. You have a choice to accept this new system or to opt out of it. Opting out is very easy and is not permanent. You can choose to opt back in at any time. If you choose to allow interest based ad placement on your website you must change your privacy policy to reflect the fact that behavioral tracking is being utilized and that information concerning the internet activities of your visitors is being collected and distributed to advertising networks. If you want to opt out as a publisher, follow these easy steps and your website will return to ad placement that is relevant to the content of your website.
