Step 1
Build a guest list, complete with names, addresses and phone numbers. Include her friends and family. Ask the invitees that you know if you should include anyone else on the guest list. Include extended family, old friends from neighborhoods she's lived in, organizations she's been a member of and schools she's attended. Consider what may be too obvious, such as members of her bridal party. If people will be coming to the party from out of town, mail the invitations four to six weeks in advance.
-
Step 2
Choose a party location. Consider her home, or the home of a friend or family member that is large enough to comfortably accommodate the guests. Depending upon the season, consider holding the party in someone's yard, at a park or other outdoor venue.
-
Step 3
Serve her favorite food. Plan a potluck and ask others to bring her favorite dishes, have the party catered or gather some friends to prepare some easy finger foods. Consider serving foods that were popular the year she was born.

Step 4

-
Step 5
Decorate the tables, walls and ceiling with streamers, photos and table toppers. Print out photos from events in her life, such as her sweet 16 party, senior prom, wedding and other celebrations and holidays. Include photos of her when she was young and photos of pets, friends, vacations and family. Add streamers in her favorite colors. Order bouquets of her favorite flowers; include a centerpiece for the table where she'll be sitting and a corsage for her to wear.

Step 6
Create a music playlist for the party. Play music from her prom, wedding or teenage days. Hire a DJ or make several CDs to play continuously through the night. If she likes to dance, set apart a space for a dance floor.
