Looking for a great gift idea for teachers? Something personal that each child in the class can participate in? This gift is simple, cost effective and designed to include the entire class. In just a few minutes you will have a beautiful and personalized gift.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cloth Tote Bag
  • Permanent Markers
  • Gift Tag
  • Optional - small personalized artwork from each student in the class
  1. Step 1

Use the markers to draw a small bee for each child in the class on the front of the bag.

  2. Step 2

Have each child use the markers to sign their names under one of the bees.

  3. Step 3

Attach the gift tag to the bag with the message "Thanks for Bee-ing Wonderful". To further enhance the bee theme, you could use bee themed scrap booking paper to make the gift tag.

  4. Step 4

If you have extra money to spend on the gift, place something inside the bag. Perhaps a potted plant that the teacher can plant in their garden over the summer. Another idea is to have the children each draw a picture for the teacher and include them in the tote bag.

Tips & Warnings
  • This gift works best for a preschool, kindergarten or first grade class.
  • Paint could also be used to create the bees, but it must be able to withstand being washed.
