Drink lots of fluids- you need to stay hydrated while you are sick especially if you are not eating. Drink clear fluids because they are the best for you while you are sick.

Get some rest- you are sick so there really isnt anything you can do right now. Take this time to get some rest and maybe relieve some stress. Sleeping will pass the time and will help your body fight through the virus.

Eat something- Your body needs food to help you get better. If you arent up to eating a full meal just trying nibbling on some crackers or try eating a small bowl of soup. Its enough to get you by and you might start feeling better.

Relax-take this time to watch a movies on the couch or just lounge around. Dont worry about getting out of your pajamas. The more rest you get the faster you will get better. Plus it will do wanders for stress.

Take your medicines- This is only if you have a high fever or just absolutely miserable without it. If you need it take it but if you dont just let the virus run its coarse. Taking medicine might actually slow down your bodys process of getting rid of the flu.

If you cannot get rid of it within a week or your symptoms get worse go to the doctor and he may give you some antibiotics. Most important thing to remember is to drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest.
