How to Find Out How Fast You Type
Many office jobs require outstanding typing skills. To find out how skilled you are at typing, take an online typing test. After completing the test, the website will give you a score, which is based on how many words you typed correctly in one minute.

Visit the Power Typing website. Click on "Typing Tests" in the top navigation bar. Power typing offers two categories of tests: single space between sentences and double space between sentences. Additionally, you can test yourself by typing text from stories and jokes.

Determine you typing speed at TypingTest.com. This site offers tests that last for one, two or three minutes. You also can choose the topic of the text you'll type, such as "The Rules of Baseball" or "The Wonderful World of Oz."

Take the test at 10FastFingers.com. You can take the English test or a test in one of more than 40 languages. The test is rather unusual in that it is made up of random words, rather than flowing text in sentence form.
