How to Install Smily Central on Incredible Mail

Smiley Central is a free software program that integrates directly with your web browser and allows you to automatically insert various animated smiling emoticons called "smileys" into an instant message window or e-mail message. The Smiley Central program is built to work with a variety of e-mail clients, including the free "Incredimail" program. Once you have Smiley Central installed on your computer you can use the button that will be added to your web browser to insert smileys into an Incredimail e-mail message.

Instructions

1. Open your computer's web browser and navigate to the Smiley Central web page (see Resources below). Click on the download link and then click on the "Save File" button when a second window pops up asking for your permission to download the file. Wait for the Smiley Central installation file to finish downloading and then close your web browser.

   Click on the "Start" button on the tool bar at the bottom of your desktop. Choose the "My Computer" option to bring up a list of the folders on your computer. Locate your downloads file and find the installation file that you downloaded from the Smiley Central web page. Double-click on the file to bring up the installation wizard.

3. Un-check the boxes labeled as "Make MyWebSearch the default search engine" and "Make MyWebSearch my home page" if you don't want to install the extra search bar features that come with the Smiley Central program. Click on "Next" and then click on "Install." Wait for the installation to finish and then click on the "Finish" button.

   Open the Incredimail program by double-clicking on its desktop icon. Click on the "Write" button at the top right side of the window to bring up a new blank e-mail message. Type whatever message that you want to appear in the message in the text box. Minimize the Incredimail program and open your web browser again.

5. 

   Click on the "Smiley Central" icon on the tool bar at the top of your web browsing program. Scroll through the list of different smiley's available and find the one that you want to add to the open Incredmail e-mail message. Click on the picture of the smiley to automatically add it to wherever your cursor was last placed inside the blank e-mail. Hit the "Send" button to send the message with the smiley.

Tips & Warnings

• Earlier versions of the Smiley Central software only worked with the Incredimail program if you used the Internet Explorer web browser. If you can't get Smiley Central to work with Incredimail simply download the latest version of the software which also works with other web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox.
