How to Set Up mIRC With a Proxy Server
Setting up a proxy server in mIRC will protect your identity. Some Internet programs allow other users to see your location and IP address. MIRC is a program that allows you to download files or chat with other Internet users. There are hundreds of channels to choose within your interests. Individuals may use your IP to send you harmful material or adware. This allows them to advertise and track your location.
