Power down the network router and modem. Depending on the router and modem models, this can be done either through a power switch or by disconnecting the power cord.

Hook an Ethernet cord to the Netgear Hub, and connect the other end to the network router. Try to use the first port on the network router.

Attach all network devices to the Netgear Hub and router. Check all network connections and make sure the router is plugged into the modem and the hub is connected to the router.

Plug the Netgear Hub into a power source, and wait for it to power on. Most hubs have "On/Off" indicators that will blink when a power source is connected.

Turn on the router, modem and all other network devices. The Netgear Hub is now integrated into the network.
