How to Bleach Satin Shoes
Satin shoes are great because you can change their color to suit your special occasion. If you wore a light pink satin shoe on Easter and have a wedding to go to a week later, you could bleach the satin shoes and wear them again. This saves you money since you don't have to purchase a whole new set of shoes. Bleaching your satin shoes is easy and can be done safely at home.

Fill a bucket big enough to contain your shoes halfway with bleach.

Fill your bucket the rest of the way with water and give it a little stir to mix the two ingredients together.

Place your satin shoes in the bucket for five minutes and then remove.

Rinse the satin shoes off under a faucet with running cold water.

Dry the shoes with a white towel. They won't be completely dry, but they will not be completely soaked either.

Use a second white towel to apply a little vinegar to the shoes and then set them out to air-dry.

Tips & Warnings
Stores such as Fashion Bug will dye your shoes for you if you purchase the shoes from them.
Don't bleach your satin shoes on a regular basis or you will begin to ruin the fabric. Don't get the bleach on your clothing or it will leave a bleach stain.
